Myth Busted: Cholesterol Causes Heart Disease

    My girlfriend eats 3 dozen eggs per week, mostly with bacon, meat, butter, coconut fat, etc. - rounding out a very low-carb diet for the past 3 years or so.

    She went to the doctor and he advised her to "eat more bacon, butter, and eggs."

    She said, "that's practically all I eat!"

    The doc was nervous. Her cholesterol level was 97 mg/dl. He actually thought eating such foods would raise cholesterol levels. Yeah, good luck with that doc.
